Biggest Dragonfly EVER!

Here at the beach house there are a set of glass doors that lead onto the back deck, and pretty much every night we hear something BOP-POP-POP off the glass.  It's dark, so it's hard to see what is making the noise but it's obviously some LARGE insect attracted to the inside light.

Well, this morning I went out on the deck and found out exactly what has been zooming into the glass doors.

The biggest dragonfly I have ever seen.

The dogs were out on the back deck last night to dry off after an evening swim, so my best guess is that one of the dogs caught the dragonfly.
