Fishing!

One of my sister-in-laws is in town this weekend with her boyfriend, and we all decided to go fishing in the neighborhood pond this morning.  The pond has small freshwater fish in it like brim and bass.

We had a blast!  Pretty much everybody caught at least one fish, and my mother-in-law fried the fillets using her special ultra-delicious technique.

What's that?  You want to know what her special ultra-delicious technique is for frying up fish?  Well, ok then.

Super Special Ultra Delicious Fried Fish

1 egg, beaten
Buttery crackers, crushed fine (Ritz crackers work well)
Freshly caught fish fillets

Dredge the fish in the egg, then in the crackers crumbs.  Fry in oil brought to 350 degrees until done.  Serve with lemon wedges.

Seriously, it sounds super simple (and it is) but you will not believe how deliciously scrumptious this is.
