So in just the last few days I've started to experience PREGNANCY HEARTBURN. It's been happening every afternoon or evening for about the last 5 days.
I've only had heartburn before once in my life, so I was unprepared for how unpleasant it is. Like, SERIOUSLY unpleasant.
You know what else is seriously unpleasant? Those stupid little colored disks of chalk that Tums pranked me into eating for the heartburn. Gross! I think I'd rather deal with the heartburn.
Also this week my eating habits have veered into more processed food/ carb-heavy territory for various reasons... We went to Asheville this weekend so we made a few stops for some fast food along the way, toast has become the new breakfast sponsored by heaven according to my taste-buds, etc.
Perhaps these two things are connected?
I'm going to make a concerted effort this week to return to the smoothie-for-breakfast, salad-for-lunch scheme and see if that doesn't handle the heartburn situation.
